Save the date! Cucamonga Challenge - Saturday, May 9 2009

Mark your calendar! The date is set and registration is now open for the 2009 Cucamonga Challenge. This is the event formerly known as the Friends of Pacific Electric Trail Bike-A-Thon - we've renamed the event to closer match the multi-user aspect of the trail, but it's the same great event you've come to know and love, now in it's 4th year.

As always, a family-friendly event with great atmosphere, prizes, and fun for all. Please join us at Central Park and show your support for the Pacific Electric Trail.

All proceeds benefit the Friends of the Pacific Electric Trail, and go directly toward supporting and enhancing the trail.

You're invited to the "Totally 80's" Founders Day Parade!

What an exciting opportunity! Friends of the Pacific Electric Trail has again been invited to participate (on bikes, of course!) in the Rancho Cucamonga Founder's Day parade. The theme for this year is "Back to the 80's".

Lets go all out and have some fun with this one! The sky is the limit. A few ideas:

  • Michael Jackson zipper jacket and silver glove
  • Boombox attached to your bike with 80's tunes
  • Ronald Reagan mask

We know you're creative and will come up with a great costume. There is, however, a limit of about 30 bicycles - so please RSVP to Justin via email if you can participate (also, please let me know your planned costume so we don't have dupes)
